Redwood Merchant Services (RMS) was established in 1991 by a small community bank in northern California to offer bankcard services to local merchants.
What distinguishes RMS from the competition is our personalized service. We take pride in our dedicated staff who are experts in the bankcard industry. We do not depend on phone trees, voice mail, or automated tellers to operate our business. This enables RMS to offer exceptional merchant support with a friendly touch.
In 1997 we began to expand our services to businesses nationwide and by 2001 RMS had earned the loyalty and trust of thousands of merchants across the country. Many of these merchants continue to do business with us because of our personalized attention. In the spring of 2005, we joined Westamerica Bank (member FDIC) through an acquisition. With the strength of one of California’s largest community banks, we relocated to our current, state-of-the-art facility in May 2007 with customers located coast-to-coast.
